Beyonce Comes Out in Support of Gay Marriage

Beyonce Knowles comes out in support of marriage equality by referencing her song 'Single Ladies' on Instagram.

As the fate of Prop 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act heads to the Supreme Court this week, many of Hollywood’s biggest and most influential names have come out in full support of marriage equality.


On that list: Beyonce Knowles, who late Tuesday evening one-upped everyone by posting this awesome photo on her Instagram.

“If you like it, you should be able to put a ring on it,” Knowles, 31, wrote, referencing her hit song, Single Ladies.

“We will unite 4 marriage equality!” She continued.
Prior to the post, Knowles also shared the marriage equality photo from the Human Rights Campaign, which has become very popular on Facebook.

Today, the Supreme Court will debate the constitutionality of the Defense Of Marriage Act, which in 1996 defined marriage as between a man and a woman only.
