"What a joke of a pastor" Seyi Law responds to pastor who cursed BBNaija organizers

Comedian, Seyi Law has responded to Pastor Mike Winning who cursed the organizers of Big Brother Naija reality show yesterday. He advised him to organize a christian reality show and give his followers money that will change their life. He wrote;

"What a joke of a Pastor. Did Jesus lay curses on those who turned His Father's house to a market place of all sorts or He just rebuked them. Some of all these people who call themselves Pastors actually think they are God o. Oga Ade, go and have a rethink abeg and ask God for forgiveness. I am not in support of the immoral acts in Big Brother Naija, but as a Christian when the devil brings darkness, you shine your light. If you don't like what they protray, change your channel. Pastor, please organise your own Big Christ House and give money that will change the followers of Christ's lives and see if men and your father in heaven won't praise you. Pastor talking like Nigeria Government, why is Big Brother Naija been held in SA when they have refused to create an enabling environment to allow businesses to thrive.

Identical twins give birth on the same day

Identical twin sisters: Sarah Mariuz and Leah Rodgers, gave birth on the same day, same time of the different zones. The sisters, who are 35 years old, who were born 11 minutes apart, realized they were pregnant around the same time with four day difference in their due dates. They delivered their babies at 1:18 am June 30 in different time zones.

Leah, who is older, was also married first and has been for the last nine years. Her sister, Sarah tied the knot four years ago. As fate would have it, their first born will also share the same birthday. Leah was also supposed to deliver her baby four days before Sarah. A report in Today.com said Sarah and Leah delivered their first born babies at 1:18 am, June 30 in Denver and Califf respectively. Sarah gave birth to a boy while Leah’s baby girl came later in respect to the different time zones.

Nigerian gay activist, Bisi Alimi teams up with Caitlyn Jenner to draw support for gay people in Africa

Nigerian gay rights activist ‎, Bisi Alimi, met and had a chat with world famous Transgender Caitlyn Jenner at the Aspen Ideas conference in Colorado, USA during the weekend.

Bisi used the opportunity to get Caitlyn’s views on the way transgenders are treated in a short clip he posted on his Instagram page.

Linda Ikeji in Trouble with FIRS over Unpaid Tax

According to online media publication, The Capital, Linda has amassed a tax bill of N75 million and is unwilling to pay up.


A “source” in the Federal Inland Revenue Service was quoted to have revealed that the celebrity blogger had for some time, been evading tax payment.

The media outlet reports that the blogger has now been mandated by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) to pay the money into the agency’s coffers.

It is also said that Linda Ikeji vehemently denied ownership of the luxurious Banana Island mansion she has been showing off when quizzed by the FIRS authorities.

Obanikoro could be extradited from America – US Justice Department

The U.S. Justice Department has said the embattled former Minister of State for Defence, Mr. Musiliu Obanikoro, could be extradited to the country to stand trial as long as the Federal Government followed due process.

The erstwhile minister had last week, dared the federal government to extradite him from the U.S, his current place of residence, following the invasion of his home in Lagos by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, who made away with cars and other valuables.

But Peter Carr, an official at the United States Department of Justice, DOJ, said the former minister’s extradition from the U.S. was possible provided the Federal Government did the needful.

The official responding to an email sent by online portal, SaharaReporters, on the issue at the weekend, said: ‘’Within (existing) statutory and treaty framework, US is generally to extradite its citizens, assuming that the requirements of the treaty are met. The fact of dual nationality with Nigeria would be irrelevant in this context.’’

Quoting Article 8 of the extradition treaty, Carr said it ‘’specifies that extraditions will comply with the laws of the requested country, i.e. the place where the fugitive is found.’’

Borno IDP's dying of starvation as officials allegedly steal relief materials

Officials of the Borno State government in charge of administering foods and other relief materials for Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) are in trouble for allegedly re-bagging and diverting rice donated by philanthropic organisations and well-meaning individuals.

Thousands of IDPs in over 20 camps around Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, are left hungry as officials enrich selves from the sales of diverted food meant for IDPs.

Many others have died of starvation while hundreds have been hospitalised.

Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, on Friday directed the police and the State Security Services to go after officials involved in the act.

The governor’s spokesperson, Isa Gusau, said Mr. Shettima’s directive followed the circulation of video clips and still pictures on the social media showing bags of rice purportedly from NEMA being re-bagged by officials of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency.

Mr. Shettima spoke at a meeting with heads of all security and para-military organisations in Borno State shortly after he held the traditional iftar (breaking of fast) with them at the Government House on Friday night.

Taylor Swift reportedly dumped Calvin Harris

Way back in 2008, Taylor Swift revealed to Ellen Degeneres that her boyfriend, Joe Jonas, had dumped her by way of a 27 second phone call after a four-month relationship. Looks like Taylor may have gotten one back on the male folks by giving Calvin Harris the same treatment.

According to reports from TMZ, the 26 year old singer dumped the British DJ on the phone 'while he was recovering from his car crash'.


Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ, Swift called Calvin from Nashville at some point after his car crash to pull the plug on their relationship. We're told Swift was vague during the call, only saying she needed some space.

Calvin was thunderstruck because he was under what he thought was a clear impression that Taylor was in it for the long haul to help him recover. He didn't accept the news well ... we're told they haven't spoken since.

Rep Sex Scandal: my identity was mistaken' - Samuel Ikon

Mr Samuel Ikon, one of the three House of Representatives members accused of sexual indiscretion in the U.S., has dismissed the allegation as untrue, saying his identity had been mistaken. Ikon, a member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), representing Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Constituency of Akwa Ibom, said in Abuja on Saturday that the allegation was in bad taste.

The U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr James Entwistle, had on Wednesday petitioned the House of Representatives alleging that Ikon and two other lawmakers solicited sex from prostitutes in Cleveland, Ohio, recently.

 The lawmaker said that he was at a loss as to what the U.S. envoy intended to achieve with the allegation, insisting that he had been mistakenly dragged into a matter he knew nothing about. He said that he was happy that the lower chamber had commenced the process of investigating the allegation, and expressed confidence that he would be cleared.

 He also said that he had briefed his lawyers to initiate legal and diplomatic steps to get to the root of the matter “to clear my name and the institution I represent”. Condemning the allegation by the ambassador, Ikon said, “I wish to state unequivocally that this is false and definitely not me.

Social media personality, Kemi Olunloyo has said that popular blogger, Linda Ikeji broke up a relationship between her cousin and popular On Air Personality, Dan Foster.


Ms Olunloyo made the claim during a recent appearance on Frankly Speaking With Jola Sotubo. “I have a lot of history with Linda. She was the one that came between my cousin’s wedding and Dan Foster.” Ms Olunloyo said. “Dan Foster and Deola Olunloyo, my cousin, were going to get married and the wedding was cancelled three weeks to the wedding because of a model called Linda Ikeji. She wrecked the home, she was having an affair with Dan,” she added.

So my darling little 'friend' Wizkid came on my IG page this morning to blast me for writing yesterday that he was given quit notice at the Lekki home he claimed he bought some years ago, which he actually rented. He threatened to beat me up...called me an ugly old bitch...(I'm ugly? lol) says I don't have a man (crying over that..) and called my mum a loser...(what a child).

Anyway, all that don't matter, people have said worse to me...what I wanted to address is the part where he said I slept with his director and he left me in a hotel...that one I will definitely want to address because some people actually believe it. That my dear friends, is a lie! Please continue...


First and foremost, I've never met Wizkid one on one. I've only seen him once in real life on stage at a show a few years ago. I've never met anybody who is his director. Guess he put that line in his comments to defame me. You that mad that people now know the house is not yours? Lol.

Wizkid to be evicted from his Lekki Phase 1 home

In 2013, Wizkid showed off his new place of abode and many people, including myself assumed he bought the house. But it's been revealed that he only rented the place...and this is fact. His rent at the 4 bedroom duplex at Ayinde Akinmade in Lekki Phase 1 expired in January 2016 and for reasons best known to him, he refused to renew his rent.

He was served quit notice yesterday Friday April 1st. (His reps collected it on his behalf) and he was given until April 11th to vacate the premises. A source close to the singer said his people had already started to gradually move his things out of the house.

David Haye pledges 10% of his next fight earnings to hospitalized Nick Blackwell

Middle weight division boxer, Nick Blackwell, remains in an induced coma following injury to the brain during his defeat by Chris Eubank Jr on Saturday. British boxer David Haye has pledged to donate 10% of his earnings from his next fight to Blackwell and his family.

David Haye's next fight against the unbeaten Kosovan Arnold Gjergjaj will be televised on a freeview platform and 10% of it's ticket proceedings will be donated to Blackwell to aid his recovery.
