The terror network of the Jihadist inspired group, the boko haram may have found its hideouts under the assault of Nigeria security forces, the terror activities around the northern states of Nigeria persist unperturbed. This is as 247ureports gathered that the military in Kano arrested four foreigners from Middle East with cache of arms and ammunition – discovered at a warehouse in the Bompai area of Kano metropolis.
According to information gathered, the owner of the warehouse was identified as an indigene of Lebanon. The military is said to be presently interrogating the warehouse owner.
The warehouse has since been taken over by military personnel. But the spokesman of the military Joint Task Force, Captain Ikedichi Iweha, when approached by an agent of 247ureports, declined to comment on the discovery. He stated that the military would release a statement on Thursday. In his words, “You would get the details tomorrow [Thursday] because of the Democracy Day celebration we have decided to talk to you after the break”.
He further stated that as a result of the Democracy Day celebration, security was beefed- up in the commercial city of Kano with increased vehicular patrols by the JTF and the police as part of the measure to also sustained relative peace Kano residents have experience in about one month now.
